Saturday the 18th of Feburary 2012, saw the launch of the Jamaica Reggae Film Festival 2012 at RedBones Blues Café in New Kingston. The event celebrated last year's award winners with the theme: The Best of the Reggae Film Festival 2011.
Carl Bradshaw, chairman of the Jamaica Film Academy, also heralded this year's event, scheduled for April 17-21.
Attendees viewed a selection from the 'Make a Film in 24 Hours' competition. Including G.A.M.E Film Productions 2011 entry "Stay Firm" and a preview of "Camariah's Way" possibly the 2012 contribution.The show was just the beginning of the vibrant cultural line-up that the Jamaica Film Academy has planned for April's staging of the 2012 Reggae Film Festival, where there will be a guest screening of an international film starring well-known Academy Award-winning actors and actresses.

Produced and Directed by Amaziyah The Great, the commercial for fashion accessory store IGNITE is now showing on television stations across the island.

Reggae Fever frenzy started in earnest on the Wednesday November the 2nd with the official launch taking place at Kingstons prestigious Knutsford Court Hotel.
Master of Ceremonies and event promoter Worrel King issued a stark warning to artistes and audiences on the paramount importance of good conduct to set precedent. Capelton "The Real Fire Man" closely followed with this inspirational speech on morality within the music industry.
